- The Promoter
The promoter is Rex Comps LTD t/a Rex Comps and operates various competitions resulting in the allocation of prizes on our platform Rexcomps.co.uk in accordance with these terms and conditions.

2 Eligibility
2.1Competitions are open to anyone who is 18 years of age or over and is a resident of the United Kingdom.
2.2Any person who is directly connected to the promoter through immediate family, employment, or in a professional or commercial association are prohibited from participating in all paid and free entry competitions.
2.3By entering any of our competitions either paid or free entry you will be deemed to undertake the following:
a. You are at least 18 years of age
b. Have the legal capacity to enter any competition
c. Have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions and be bound by them and any other condition which has been set out by the promoter to be eligible to enter any competition.
2.4 By entering any competition either online, on our app or by postal entry you hereby confirm you are not in any way being unlawful in your country of residence regarding the legality of entering our competitions. The promoter will not be held responsible for any person entering any of our competitions unlawfully. If you have any doubts check with your relevant authority prior to entering any competition.
2.5 The promoter reserves the right to refuse any customers entry at the promoters discretion.
2.6 All competitions either paid or free entry are governed by English law and any matters or disputes arising from any competition or Rex Comps activity will be dealt with and/or resolved under English law and the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction.
3 Competitions
3.1 The promoter may run multiple competitions at the same time. Each competition will have its own specific prize and may also have instant win prizes which will be detailed in each specific competitions description
3.2 The number of tickets available, the maximum number of tickets that can be bought, how long the competition runs for and the price of tickets/entry are all at the promoters discretion and may vary between competitions and will be detailed in each specific competitions description.
3.3 Each competition will have a free entry route as well as a paid entry route. The availability of free entries to each competition means that our competitions do not fall within the definition of a lottery under the gambling act 2005 and can be operated in Great Britain without a licence. For more details of the free entry route see the below clause titled postal entries.
3.4 Each competition will either have a specified end date or will end once all tickets have sold. This will be detailed in each competitions details.
4 How to enter
4.1 To participate in any of our competitions you must create an account first on our website Rexcomps.co.uk. multiple accounts are strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification from competitions and termination of your accounts.
4.2Once your account is active you can either enter a competition on the website or send a postal vote to the promoter ( see below clause titled postal entries for more information)
4.3 All entries must be received before the competition ends, any entry received after the competition has ended will not be counted.
4.4 The promoter needs the following information to confirm entries, notify winners, fulfil prize deliveries and to post winners on our platform.
a. Full name
b. Date of birth
c. Email address
d. Postal address
e. Contact phone number
4.5 Once you have successfully entered a competition you will receive an email with your allocated ticket numbers.
4.6 The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify any entry if it is deemed to have broken any of the terms and conditions and no refund will be given.
4.7 The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or disqualify any entry if it is deemed that the entrant has or is likely to make abusive or defamatory comments either in person, on our platform or on social media and no refund will be given.
4.8 The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, disqualify any entry, to suspend or ban any account or entrant if they are participating in any competition in a way which is deemed to be unlawful, fraudulent, unfair or not in the spirit of the competition including using any glitch, tampering with or utilising any malfunction of the site or any other efforts to gain an unfair advantage in any competition and any entries subsequently revoked with no refund given.
4.9 All entries are final and no refund will be given at any time except in the event of the promoter cancelling a competition in which case the promoter will contact all entrants of said competition by the email address they have provided and return any payment made by the same method as payment was made. Where a refund has been issued the promoter will have no further liability to the entrant.
4.10 If a competition has sold out no other entries will be accepted, including any postal entries which may have been sent prior but not received before the competition sold out.
4.11 Each competition will have a pre determined number of tickets details of which can be found in each competitions description.
4.12 Each competition will have a maximum number of tickets available per entrant details of which can be found in each competitions description.
5 Competition Judgement/selecting a winner
5.1 RexComps.co.uk is committed to hosting fair transparent and honest competitions, as such we are completely transparent on how we run each competition with a clear description of how to enter, ticket price, number of tickets available, maximum number of tickets per person, what prize/prizes are available and a guaranteed random draw which will be live streamed to ensure fairness, the promoters decision is final regarding any aspects of the competitions.
5.2 Occasionally at the discretion of RexComps.co.uk and stated in advance on a competitions description an alternative random and verifiable method of selecting a winner may be used. (generally but not limited to our bonus ball competitions).
5.3In the event of a technical error or malfunction during the winner selection process RexComps.co.uk at its discretion will restart the winner selection process.
5.4There will only be 1 main prize per competition unless stated otherwise, instant wins may be available on various competitions, all prize details including any cash alternative offers available for each competition will be displayed in the relevant competitions description.
5.5Instant win prizes have their winning numbers selected randomly prior to a competition going live, these cannot be changed. They are encrypted on our system and can not be viewed or altered by any member of staff or RexCompsLTD
5.6 RexCompsLTD will attempt to contact competition winners using the contact information provided at the time of entry (or subsequently updated information) that is held on our secure Database. It is the entrants responsibility to ensure correct, complete and upto date information is provided and recorded. If incorrect contact information is uploaded, submitted or recorded in any way whatsoever RexCompsLTD will not be held responsible for any consequence of this wholly or in part regardless of how the information was received by us. You can check your contact information via the “my account” section on our platform.
5.7 If for any reason RexCompsLTD is unable to contact a prize winner within 10 working days of the end of a competition, or the winner in any way fails to accept the prize or if the winner is disqualified for any of the reasons stated in these terms and conditions the winner accepts that it will immediately, irrevocably and automatically forfeit any prize and the ownership of said prize will remain in the sole possession and ownership of RexCompsLTD.
5.8 The winner for each competition will be chosen at the end of the competition (details of end dates and draw times can be found in specific competitions descriptions). Competition times will not be extended but may be brought forward in the event of a sell out, if a competition is brought forward the details of the amended dates and times will be clearly displayed on our platform for at least 3 days.
5.9 Instant win prizes may be available in certain competitions, these are available while a competition is open and cannot be won once a competition has ended.
6 Winners details
6.1 All winners will be required to show proof of age and identification before receipt of a prize, failure to meet these requirements may result in disqualification and the prize being re-allocated.
6.2 All winners will be asked to provide or pose for photo or videos and to consent to have their personal details included and used in marketing/promotional material and to be added and verified as a competition winner in the winners section of our platform which will enable us to be fully transparent and ensure our commitment to fair and honest competitions.
6.3 After receipt and verification of the above information prizes will be allocated and arranged for delivery or collection.
6.4 All prizes must be claimed by the winner, they cannot be accepted by any third party on a winners behalf under any circumstance.
7 Prizes
7.1 All prizes are chosen, sourced and bought by RexCompsLTD prior to the relevant competition going live, they remain the property of RexCompsLTD until transfer to the rightful winner takes place. Once the prize has been successfully received by the winner RexCompsLTD has no further responsibility for the item including any relevant insurance, tax, duty or any other associated costs or liability.
7.2 Prizes can be delivered to a winners home address in Great Britain for free.
7.3 If a prize winner does not reside in great Britain the prize winner will be responsible for any delivery fees and associated taxes/duties and charges involved in delivering/receiving the prize.
7.4 If a winner chooses to collect their prize from our registered address (Rear of 173 Lord Street Fleetwood FY7 6SR) all associated costs, expenses, tax, duty and charges are the responsibility of the winner unless stated otherwise by RexCompsLTD.
7.5 Prizes are subject to RexCompsLTD terms and conditions and are to be accepted as awarded and are non transferable or convertible to any other substitute and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, reward, discount, voucher or promotion either from RexCompsLTD or any other manufacturer, supplier or third party.
7.6 A cash alternative may be offered by RexCompsLTD for any prize at the sole discretion of RexCompsLTD. Details of any cash alternative will be provided to the winner directly and the winner is under no obligation to accept any cash alternative.
7.7 RexCompsLTD endeavours to make all information and descriptions relating to prizes are accurate and up to date, All prize details are to the best of RexCompsLTD knowledge, if a mistake or inaccurate information on a prize is published RexCompsLTD will update the information as soon as reasonably possible but will not offer any refund or compensation for any inaccurate information.
7.8 Cash prizes and cash alternatives will be paid electronically into uk bank accounts and no physical cash (notes or coins) will be awarded as prizes.
7.9 All prizes can be stored by RexCompsLTD for upto 30 days of the winner being notified. If RexCompsLTD need to store a prize for longer than 30 days any reasonable costs involved with the storage of prizes will be the responsibility of the winner and will need to be settled prior to the delivery of the prize.
8 Personal data and data protection
8.1By entering any competition you are agreeing to the use of your name on our platform in our list of winners which is publicly available.
8.2Any personal data that is supplied to RexCompsLTD will be used to verify entrants eligibility, process competitions, contact winners and fulfil all our obligations in regard to prize distribution and any necessary record keeping needed to operate RexCompsLTD and to ensure we comply with any legal or regulatory requirements.
9 Limitation of liability
9.1 RexCompsLTD makes no representation, assurance or warranty in any way whatsoever to the quality, purpose or suitability of any goods or services offered, advertised or provided as prizes.
9.2 RexCompsLTD will not be liable for any loss suffered to a person or property howsoever it arises in connection to the supply or delivery of any service or goods by any person to the prize winner(s), family or person accompanying them, or in connection to any of the competitions or events RexCompsLTD offers. Except for liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of RexCompsLTD or any circumstance which to the extent they cannot be excluded or limited by law.
10 postal entries
10.1 every competition has a free entry route available and as such means the competition does not fall under the definition of a lottery under the gambling act 2005 and therefore can be legally operated legally in Great Britain without a licence.
10.2 to enter any competition you will need to create an account on our platform (even if you intend to use the free postal entry option) this is so we can verify and identify a persons eligibility to enter a competition and allocate any postal entries to the correct profile.
10.3 postal entries will need to be in the English language and contain the following information which we must be able to match to a registered account on our platform :
a. full name
b. date of birth
c.email address
d. postal address
e.contact phone number
f. details of which competition you wish to enter
g. confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted the terms and conditions of the competition
10.4 postal entries should be sent on a open postcard to the following address:

10.5 each postal entry must have first or second class postage paid, bulk entries in the same envelope will not be accepted and only count as one single entry. Computer generated or photocopied entries will not be accepted. Hand delivered postal entries will not be accepted.
10.6 upon receiving a valid postal entry a random number will be allocated to the registered account linked to the details provided.
10.7 the same limit for paid entries per account to a competition is applied to postal entries and postal entries have the same chance of winning as paid entries
10.8 all entries paid or postal need to be received before a competition closes and in the event a postal entry is received after a competition closes or sells out it will not be counted, and no more entries will be accepted for that competition.
10.9 if an entry is incomplete, ineligible, does not match a valid online account, is offensive in any way or we have reason to believe that it may be fraudulent or breach any of these terms and conditions we reserve the right to refuse or disqualify any entry and no refund will be made.
10.10 all entries become the property of RexCompsLTD and will not be returned.
10.11RexCompsLTD does not accept any responsibility for entries that may be lost or delayed regardless of circumstance.
11 Validation
11.1 RexCompsLTD reserves the right to withhold a prize until it is satisfied that:
a. the winner is legally eligible to enter the competition
b. none of the terms and conditions have been broken
c.all amounts due to RexCompsLTD are paid in full
d.the identity and entitlement of the winner to receive the prize has been established (proof of identity may be requested).
11.2 if RexCompsLTD has reason to believe that an occurrence of fraud has been committed in relation to a competition it reserves the right to withhold any prize or to retrieve a prize or equivalent value if a prize has been issued before fraudulent behaviour had been made apparent.
12. Communications
12.1 RexCompsLTD will not accept any responsibility for any failed communications or accessibility regardless of how it occurs including but not limited to internet, telephone, hardware and software malfunctions or failure including human error or interference by both authorised or unauthorised people. RexCompsLTD will endeavour to contact and award prizes to the rightful winner however if for any reason the prize is awarded incorrectly RexCompsLTD reserves the right to retrieve a prize or equivalent value of a prize to award to the correct winner.
13. Account
13.1 it is your responsibility to ensure your account is kept up to date and secure at all times. You must keep your password safe and ensure you take all the necessary steps to prevent it being used without your permission including using a password that is not easy to guess, logging out of your account when it is not in use or when you have been using shared devices and ensure you have adequate internet security.
13.2 if you suspect your account has been accessed by anyone other than you it is important that you contact RexCompsLTD immediately.
13.3 if you forget your password please contact RexCompsLTD and we will assist in resetting your password. Do not share your password with anyone, not even RexCompsLTD employees.
14. General
14.1 RexCompsLTD reserves the right to change these terms and conditions and will always have the most current version available on our platform so please check this page periodically to ensure you understand and agree to the terms and conditions and any amendments that may have been made.
14.2 if any part of these terms and conditions are deemed by a court of law to be unlawful and/or unenforceable then only that particular part of the terms and conditions will be considered void and will not affect any other aspect of these terms and conditions.
14.3 these terms and conditions form a legal agreement between you and RexCompsLTD regarding all matters and conditions detailed in these terms and conditions.
14.4 RexCompsLTD will not be held liable for any failure or delay to any obligation set in these terms and conditions where the cause is out of our reasonable control including but not limited to acts of god, war, terrorism, riots, government orders, power or other network and/or utility failure, natural disasters and other elements of nature.
14.5 RexCompsLTD reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend a competition or prize where it becomes necessary to do so.
15. Our platform
15.1 while we endeavour to keep our systems up to date we cannot guarantee that our platform will be displayed correctly on all devices.
15.2 you agree that the use of our platform and/or competitions is for personal use only and will be used only as set out in these terms and conditions.
15.3 you agree to only use your account , enter competitions and use our platform in an appropriate and lawful manner and as such you will not in anyway access, share or transmit or authorise anyone to access, share or transmit any content that is deemed threatening, obscene, pornographic, racist, defamatory, offensive or in breach of confidence or copyright and/or make any attempt to cause detriment or damage in any way, hack, harm, interfere with or impair our website, communications, systems, software, hardware, property, employees or reputation.
15.4 you agree not to engage or authorise anyone to engage in any activity or behaviour in any way whatsoever that could prevent others from using our website, contacting us, entering and/or participating in competitions.
15.5 you agree not to engage or authorise anyone to engage in any activity or behaviour in any way whatsoever that could compromise the fairness or integrity of any competition or give any person or persons an unfair advantage.
15.6 you agree to indemnify RexCompsLTD any and/or costs, losses, damages and expenses which RexCompsLTD may incur from any claim or legal proceeding by any third party that arises from you unlawful, wrongful, negligent, harmful access and/or use of our platform, website, competitions, systems, hardware, software or property and/or by you breaching any part of these terms and conditions.
15.7 RexCompsLTD is the owner or licensee of all copyright, trademarks and intellectual property rights in respect to branding, competitions, competition entries and website You do not and cannot acquire any rights to these whatsoever and may not use, alter, obscure or deface any material obtained from our platform.
15.8 third party trademarks may be used for identification purposes only and are the property of there respective owners you do not and cannot acquire any rights to these whatsoever.
16 Refunds/returns
16.1 all entries to a competition are final and no refunds will be given at any time for any reason, except in the event RexCompsLTD cancels the competition.
16.2 you agree that the usual requirement of the consumer protection regulations 2000 for any goods or services ordered online are to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to any RexCompsLTD competition.
16.3 if you have any dispute over a payment made to us you should contact us immediately.
16.4 if you submit an unjustified chargeback on your debit/credit card then you will be liable to pay us withing 7 days the charges due for any competitions you entered that are covered by the chargeback, any costs that your bank, building society or credit card company impose on us due the chargeback and within reason our costs and losses incurred in recovering the above fees and we also reserve the right to terminate your account on our platform.
16.5 if a payment has been made to us without your permission and your bank, building society or credit card company asks us to return the relevant amount your account may be suspended or terminated, we will accept no responsibility or liability for any chargeback fees or costs.
